my why
I started photography in 2021, not long after losing my mother. In the quiet that followed, I realized how few photos I had of us together. The first picture I have to hold is us cutting my birthday cake when I was sixteen years old. There was almost nothing to return to, nothing that held those moments we had lived together. Photography became my way of honoring how much those 'little' moments do matter
Now the way I photograph leans into my wish for myself I can only fulfill doing what just so, what I wished for - honesty, raw and soft without forcing perfection. Moody because it gives life, unposed in your true form, resembling every little feeling you had in those moments.
